Escambia County Government Meetings Set for Oct. 26-30

Escambia County and affiliated boards have scheduled several public meetings for the coming week, with most activity concentrated on Wednesday.

Monday's agenda includes a WFPL Board of Governance Meeting at 4 p.m. at Tryon Library on Langley Avenue. Tuesday brings the Pensacola-Escambia Promotion and Development Commission Board Meeting at 10 a.m. at CO:LAB on West Garden Street; an Environmental Enforcement Special Magistrate Hearing scheduled for 1:30 p.m. has been canceled.

Wednesday is the busiest day. The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee meets at 9 a.m., followed by the Escambia Children's Trust Board at the same time in the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building on Palafox Place. The Development Review Committee convenes at 1 p.m., and the Visit Pensacola Board of Directors meets at 3 p.m. at 120 Church St. The Santa Rosa Island Authority Board will meet at 5 p.m. at their office on Via de Luna Drive in Pensacola Beach. An Audit Committee meeting for the FloridaWest Economic Development Alliance, also scheduled for 3 p.m., has been canceled.
