Gulf Shores pop-up festival gives Shrimp Festival vendors a second chance

More than two weeks after the National Shrimp Festival's cancellation, some of the vendors and artists who were counting on the event are getting another opportunity to sell their work and recover losses.

According to WKRG News 5, a pop-up festival in Gulf Shores is now offering participating artists and craftspeople a chance to showcase their talents after the 53rd annual National Shrimp Festival was called off.

The cancellation left many vendors facing significant financial losses after preparing inventory and making travel arrangements for what is typically one of the Gulf Coast's largest annual events. The pop-up festival represents a lifeline for those looking to recoup some of those losses before the busy holiday shopping season.

Details about the timing, location, and participating vendors at the pop-up event were not immediately available.
