NEIGHBOR GETS SHOT OVER ARGUMENT OVER TREE LIMB

One man was shot yesterday during a dispute with his neighbor over tree limbs on Capitol Boulevard. Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons says 39-year-old Derrick Suell got into an altercation with his neighbor, but then went into his home and got a gun after it got physical. Simmons says it's not reasonable to get the gun and then go back into the fight. Suell now faces attempted homicide and other charges. The incident was caught on the suspect's Ring doorbell camera. The neighbor was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Suell remains in jail and is being held without bond.
