NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER TRACKING NEW SYSTEM OFF FLORIDA

A new disturbance in the Atlantic off the coast of Florida is being given a low chance of developing into a named storm. The National Hurricane Center in Miami says the area of low pressure is producing some disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Forecasters are giving it just a ten-percent chance of developing in the next two to seven days. The system is expected to move inland over the southeastern U.S. by this weekend.
