Mother Charged With Murder in Death of 6-Year-Old Daughter

Milton, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Milton woman is facing murder charges after her 6-year-old daughter was found dead early this morning. Santa Rosa County deputies responded to a 911 call about a cutting incident on Nowling Drive around midnight. They found 40-year-old April Oliva with the child's body. The girl was pronounced dead at the scene. Oliva was injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. A warrant has been issued for her arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
