Mother and 10-Year-Old Dead In Murder-Suicide

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- An investigation is underway after a mother and her 10-year-old daughter were found dead yesterday -- in what's believed to have been a murder-suicide. Escambia County deputies responded to a home in the 2-thousand block of North B Street for a welfare check on Monday. A woman was found deceased in bed with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, her 10-year-old daughter was also found dead in the bed with a gunshot wound. Investigators say the woman had killed her daughter hten turned the gun on herself. No other information was released.
