Molino Fire Chief Retires After 30 Years Of Service

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Mark Butler has retired after 30 years of volunteer service with Escambia County Fire Rescue. Butler started at the Molino Fire Department on September 21st, 19-95, one day after his 18th birthday. He worked his way up to assistant district chief. During his career, Butler volunteered hundreds of hours during hurricanes, tornadoes, the COVID-19 pandemic and other emergencies. The Escambia County Commission honored Butler with a proclamation last week.
