MAN CHARGED AFTER BREAKING INTO HOME THROUGH DOG DOOR

A Cantonment man is facing charges after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend's home through a doggy door. The woman told Escambia County deputies she woke up to find 26-year-old Calelan William Ross in bed with her -- after telling him to leave she says he threw her on the bed and got on top of her. He then left the home the same way he had gotten in, through a large dog door. Deputies say they could not find Ross when they responded to the home, but a warrant was issued for his arrest. He's charged with first degree felony burglary with assault and is being held on $75-thousand dollars bond.
