Man Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing Brother

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A man was arrested over the weekend for a stabbing that left his brother injured. Escambia deputies responded to the incident on the 68-hundred block of Cornelius Lane at about Midnight Saturday. A victim was found with a stab wound to the hand and chest. Investigators determined it was a fight between two brothers. 40-year-old Edward Pettway was taken into custody. The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover. Pettway remains in the Escambia County jail on an attempted homicide charge and is being held without bond.
