Lifeguard Coverage Expanding to Perdido Key This Weekend

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Lifeguard coverage is expanding along the area's beaches this weekend. Starting Saturday, Pensacola Beach Lifeguards will be stationed at Perdido Key Beach Access number two daily from ten a-m to six p-m through August eleventh. Lifeguards are already on duty at Casino Beach, Park East, Park West, and Quietwater Beach, with increased staffing beginning Memorial Day weekend. Guards are also posted at Opal, Langdon, and Johnson beaches at Gulf Islands National Seashore through Labor Day.
