The clock may be ticking for Pensacola to use the $7-million in state funding they were awarded for the demolition and redevelopment of the legacy Baptist hospital campus. Mayor DC Reeves signed a letter of intent for the city to take over the property in January -- but that hasn't happened yet. The city has said they could use the property for an affordable housing project. There's some concern that the state funding could be reallocated if the project doesn't get underway soon.
