Ice Flyers shut out Macon 5-0 behind DiMatteo shutout

The Pensacola Ice Flyers dominated the Macon Mayhem on Saturday, posting a 5-0 victory in front of a sold-out crowd at the Pensacola Bay Center. Jonathan Ziskie and Porter Schachle each contributed a goal and an assist in the win, while goaltender Rico DiMatteo recorded his third shutout of the season, turning aside 21 shots from the Mayhem. The lopsided result marks a strong performance for the Ice Flyers, who controlled play throughout the matchup against their Southern Professional Hockey League opponent.
