Gulf Shores, AL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Gulf Shores will not host a music festival next year. The city is skipping 2026 after Morgan Wallen's "Sand in My Boots" sold out all forty-thousand tickets this past year. The mayor says organizers wanted to book different acts, but couldn't reach a deal. Rather than settle for previous performers, the city decided to cancel and regroup. Mayor Robert Craft says they're already approved for a festival in 2027, and they want to bring the same type of talent and audience that made this year's event so successful.
