Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Gulf Islands National Seashore drew more than 7-and-a-half million visitors in 2025, ranking it 7th among all national park sites in the country for visitor hours. The seashore logged nearly 24 million visitor hours and more than 173-thousand overnight stays, making it the 3rd most visited RV campground of any national park in the nation. The figures come despite a 43-day partial government shutdown, the longest ever, during the year.
