GULF BREEZE DOG PARK CLOSES TEMPORARILY BECAUSE PEOPLE CAN'T GET ALONG

The dog park in Gulf Breeze is closing down temporarily because some of the dog owners who use it reportedly can't get along with each other. Gulf Breeze City Manager Sam Abell says some of the complaints include harassment, discrimination, and ADA complaints. The two dog owners have reportedly been requesting loads of public documents from the city, and have threatened litigation -- although it's not clear whether they plan to sue each other or the city. Abell asked the city council to close the dog park down as they investigate the allegations and assess the city's potential legal liability.
