Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- An Escambia County grand jury has indicted a man on murder charges for the ambush-style triple homicide on West Jackson Street last April. 23-year-old Torrance Sumler has been indicted on three counts of first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm. The shooting happened April 28th at West Jackson Square, where three victims were in a parked car. All three men were shot, two died on scene, a third died at the hospital. Sumler remains in the Escambia County jail without bond. If convicted he would face a mandatory life sentence.
