GAETZ FILING ETHICS COMPLAINT ON MCCARTHY AFTER ELBOWING -- David Wayne
Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Northwest Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz says he's filing an ethics complaint against former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy following an alleged incident in a crowded House of Representatives hallway on Tuesday. Tennessee representative Tim Burchett says McCarthy walked past and elbowed him. McCarthy says it was a crowded hallway and not done on purpose. Burchett was one of the Republicans that led the charge to oust McCarthy as House Speaker last month. Matt Gaetz says he wants McCarthy to be investigated for a possible ethics violation.
