FWC Employee Sues After Being Fired Over Social Media Post

(Tallahassee, FL) -- A former state employee is suing after she was fired for a social media post. Former FWC biologist Brittney Brown was fired last month after an Instagram post about Charlie Kirk's murder. The FWC says her post was not in line with the FWC's values or mission. Brown's lawyers, though, claim the firing violated her free speech rights.
