Food Giveaway to Help 300 Families Ahead of Holidays

State representative Michelle Salzman is teaming up with Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons and several area nonprofits to sponsor a food distribution and Thanksgiving Meal givaeway event. It's happening March 23rd at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church. Salzman tells Channel 3 that at least 300 families will be served, but supplies are limited. The event is planned to help those struggling and supplement the holidays for their families.
