Foley Woman Arrested After Body Found in Her Apartment

Foley, AL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Foley woman was arrested after a dead man was found inside her apartment. Police say they responded to the apartment for a welfare check, where they found the body of a resident who had been dead for an extended period of time. 54-year-old Valerie Bonner was arrested for abuse of a corpse. Police say she had deliberately not notified authorities and allowed the deceased man's body to remain in the residence. Officials say they do not suspect foul play in the case.
