Florida gas prices jumped 18-cents last week, rising to their highest point in nearly two months. Triple-A reports the state average currently sits at three-dollars-50-cents per gallon. That's 14-cents more than a week ago and five-cents higher than this time last year. Analysts say fuel prices face continued upward pressure on concerns about Tropical Storm Beryl, and economic data suggesting the Federal Reserve could lower interest rates to boost growth. Average Escambia gas prices are $3.20 a gallon, in Santa Rosa county the average is $3.25 a gallon.
