FIVE ARRESTED ON DRUG AND RACKETEERING CHARGES

Five people were arrested on drug and racketeering charges Thursday in Santa Rosa County in relation to the pill mill case against Gulf Breeze doctor Elaine Sharp. 72 year old Sharp was arrested by Escambia County deputies around 1 pm yesterday (Thursday) on a Florida Department Law Enforcement warrant for two counts of first-degree murder. These five people were also arrested yesterday around 12:35 pm, as part of FDLE's case against Sharp: 39-year-old Shanna Castleberry of Navarre, 60-year-old Gary Eckard of Pace, 43-year-old Jessica Michael of Navarre, 63-year-old Cheryl Tassin of Milton, AND 58-year-old Tammy Zell of Gulf Breeze. Zell, Michael and Eckard are being held in Santa Rosa County Jail on $1 million bond each. Tassin is being held on $750,000 bond, while Castleberry is being held without bond. No further details have been released on the charges for any of the five suspects.
