FIRE IN PERDIDO KEY TOWNHOME

Escambia County Fire Rescue units responded to a multi-residential structure fire in Perdido Key last night. The fire originated from a grill located on the second floor of a three-story townhome complex on the 15000 block of Perdido Key Drive around 7:30pm, with flames extending to the structure. Firefighters quickly assessed and extinguished the fire, bringing the situation under control. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and damage was limited to the exterior of the home. Assistance was provided by Escambia County EMS, Escambia County Sheriff's Office, and Orange Beach Fire Rescue.
