Fire damages 8 units at Beauclerc Apartments in Escambia County

Escambia County Fire Rescue responded to a significant apartment fire Thursday at Beauclerc Apartments on East Burgess Road, damaging eight units at the complex.

According to county fire officials, firefighters were dispatched to the scene on September 24th. The extent of injuries, if any, and the cause of the fire have not yet been disclosed by emergency responders.

Investigators are working to determine what sparked the blaze. Residents of the affected units were displaced as a result of the damage.
