FHP Investigating Crash that Sent Four to Hospital

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A crash earlier this week in Escambia County ended with four individuals being taken to area hospitals. Escambia Fire Rescue says it happened at Nine Mile and Airway Drive around 6 pm on Tuesday. The crash involved two vehicles with one person trapped inside. Fire units were called to the scene and used extrication tools to remove the entire drivers side of the vehicle, and were eventually able to get to the trapped victim. FHP is investigating the crash.
