The Florida Highway Patrol is confirming that the 2-year-old boy who was ejected from a car on Highway 98 last week has died. The crash happened back on October 4th on Highway 98 near Fairfield Drive. At the time, investigators said that a black Buick failed to yield the right of way and collided with a red Ford. The two-year-old boy as well as an infant in the Buick were ejected. FHP Lt. Jason King says that the investigation is continuing, and includes determining whether the child safety seat and booster seat were used at all or if they were used improperly.
