Federal Deadline for Air Travel Without REAL-ID One Month Away

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- We're now one month out until you have to have a REAL ID if you want to get onboard an airplane. The federal deadline is May 7th -- after that everone 18 or older needs to have a gold star on the ID, or they won't get through TSA. Florida has been issuing REAL ID compliant licenses and ID's since 2010. If you don't have a compliant ID you can make an appointment with the tax collectors office to get one. You need to provide original copies of documents such your birth certficate and social security card.
