DOG PARK REOPENING THIS FRIDAY

It looks like the Gulf Breeze dog park will be reopening by the end of the week. This comes after two dog owners couldn't get along and filed a series of complaints against each other, then ultimately filed an ADA complaint against the park itself. City Manager Sam Abel says the city ultimately decided to pour some new ADA-compliant concrete for ADA parking and sidewalks that will go to the dog park, but she says there won't be any concrete inside of the dog enclosure. The city also decided on a new 'code of conduct' for those who use the park....not the dogs, but the people.
