Convicted Killer Put To Death

(Raiford, FL) -- A man who killed a child in Brevard County is dead after he was executed by the state. Bryan Frederick Jennings was put to death at 6:20 last night at Florida State Prison. The 66-year-old former Marine was convicted of kidnapping, raping and killing a 6-year-old Merritt Island girl in 1979. This was Florida's 16th execution this year. Two more are scheduled.
