Coast Guard Rescues Man from Fishing Boat after Medical Emergency

Okaloosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The Coast Guard rescued a man from an offshore fishing boat over the weekend. The man was about 75 miles off the Destin coast when a medevac was requested for a 48-year-old man who suddenly had a medical emergency. The Coast Guard launched a helicopter and was able to hoist the man onboard and get him to Ascension Sacred Heart here in Pensacola.
