Clearwater Official Wants To Name Street After Charlie Kirk

(Clearwater, FL) -- Charlie Kirk could be honored in Pinellas County. Clearwater City Council Member Ryan Cotton plans to introduce a resolution today to rename Court Street as Charlie Kirk Way. Cotton tells Tampa Bay 28 honoring Kirk is a way to honor free speech, open and honest debate and the courage to hear everybody equally. Meanwhile, a Broward County social studies teacher has been reassigned for comments he allegedly made after Kirk's death. There's no word on what he said, but some students told school officials it made them uncomfortable.
