CITY TO CELEBRATE SAENGER THEATER 100TH ANNIVERSARY

There are a few events coming up soon to celebrate the Saenger Theater's 100th birthday. Next Wednesday there will be guided tours and showings of the first movie to ever play at the theater, The 10 Commandments. In addition to that event there will be a street party in front of the theater on Sunday. There will be a stage set up outside with several performances, and screenings of the silent version of Phantom of the Opera with the theater's organ providing the soundtrack.
