CHILD PORN SUSPECT'S MOTHER PLACED ON ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE FROM GULF BEEZE SCHOOL

We reported earlier this week on the arrest of a Gulf Breeze man on child pornography charges -- According to the Milton Post, Matthew McChesney's mother, Gulf Breeze assistant principal Kim McChesney has been placed on administrative leave after allegedly letting him participate in a senior walk thru at the elmentary school as he was under investigation. The Santa Rosa school district issued a statement saying they are investigating the circumstances and will determine what actions are necessary. The district says they will comply fully with law enforcement. Matthew McChesney was arrested earlier this month on 20 counts of possession of child pornography. Investigators said he had photos of children as young as 3-years-old and was trading images in online chat rooms.
