Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A chain-reaction crash near a convenience store in Escambia County sent a pickup truck plowing through a parking lot and into a food truck Saturday afternoon. Florida Highway Patrol says a Ram pickup rear-ended a Chevrolet Silverado on County Road 95A near Tate School Road around 1 p.m. The impact redirected the Ram into a nearby parking lot where it struck two parked vehicles and then hit Frontera's Taco food truck, injuring a 26-year-old man inside. The truck finally came to rest after hitting a utility pole. The Ram's driver, a 46-year-old Flomaton man, was taken to the hospital with non-serious injuries and cited for careless driving. The Silverado's driver was not hurt.
