BOTH SIDE REST IN AGEE MURDER TRIAL

Both sides have rested in the murder trial of Keith Agee, accused of fatally shooting 18-year-old Brooklyn Sims inside the Home Depot store on Davis Highway in August. Channel 3 was in the courtroom yesterday when Agee himself took the stand, saying he had tested positive for an STD a few days after being intimate with Sims. Agee would go on to testify that after Sims turned and walked away, he pulled the gun from his waistband and shot her. His mother, Sheila Agee, is also charged with first-degree murder, accused of not only knowing about his plans but helping to orchestrate them.
