Atmore Church Catches on Fire During Saturday Storm

Atmore, AL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A church in Atmore burned down during the storms on Saturday -- possibly due to a lightning strike in the area. The First Presbyterian Church went up in flames shortly after the lightning was reported.

Services on Sunday morning still happened -- on the church lawn. The church says their first goal is to find a temporary location for services until they can rebuild. The church believes that could take around a year.
