112824 (NHC) Today National Hurricane Center forecasters say there is no tropical cyclone activity expected. The Atlantic Hurricane Season ends on November 30, 2024. Here's what we saw in 2024. The Atlantic basin churned 18 named storms this year. Of these, 11 strengthened into hurricanes, and 5 of those reached major hurricane status.
