Ascension Sacred Heart to Open Perdido ER in December

ASCENSION TO OPEN PERDIDO KEY EMERGENCY ROOM NEXT MONTH

Ascension Sacred Heart is opening a new emergency room in Perdido Key next month. The state-of-the-art facility on Sorrento Road will have two triage areas, a trauma room, nine treatment rooms, and imaging technology. The grand opening is December 3rd at 9 a.m. The 11,000-square-foot emergency room will employ more than 40 people and be run jointly by Sacred Heart Pensacola and Studer Family Children's Hospital. It's the third freestanding emergency room for Ascension, with another location planned for Pace in 2026.
