American Legion Post 78 Hosting Young Patriots Event This Weekend in Milton

Milton, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- American Legion Post 78 is hosting its first-ever Young Patriots event this Saturday and Sunday at the post in Milton. The family-focused event runs April 25th and 26th and includes hands-on stations covering flag etiquette, first aid, fire safety, knot tying, civic responsibility, and historical education. A blood drive is scheduled for Saturday and a flag retirement ceremony is planned for Sunday. Post Adjutant Will Pohlman told commissioners Thursday the event is already generating buzz about next year. It's open to the public.
