16-Year-Old Critcially Hurt in Accidental Shooting in Walnut Hill

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A teenager was critically hurt after an accidental shooting at a party on Sunday morning. Another teen is facing charges related to the incident. It happened at a property on South Highway 99 and Morgan Road in Walnut Hil. Deputies say the teen that fired the weapon was charged with grand theft of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a minor. He is not charged with the actual shooting -- as that was deemed accidental. The teen who suffered a gunshot wound was flown to the hospital in critical condition. The incident remains under investigation.
