We're getting closer and closer to the Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show having to officially cancel due to the government shutdown. The air show was scheduled for November 14th and 15th. It's one of the most popular events of the fall and typically draws more than 150-thousand visitors to the NAS for the performances and static displays. We're now in day 30 of the shutdown with Republicans and Democrats still in a stalemate.

Habitat for Humanity has transformed a former drug house site in Santa Rosa County, into a new home, marking a fresh start for the neighborhood. About two years ago, deputies raided the notorious property in Midway, which residents were relieved to see demolished.
