Woman Charged with Sneaking Spice into Escambia, AL Jail

Escambia County, AL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A McDavid woman is facing drug charges after an incident at the McDonalds in Atmore. Police say they were called to the restaurant for a report of a disorderly woman throwing food at vehicles on Main Street. When officers arrived they found 43-year-old Shivoyer English, who they say was agitated and cursing. She was initially arrested for disorderly conduct -- but when she arrived at the Escambia Alabama jail, corrections officers found spice and items used to ingest narcotics . She now faces charges of promoting prison contraband and possession of drug parphernalia as well. She remains in the Escambia County jail in Brewton.
