Weather forces rash of Escambia County sports cancellations and rescheduling

A stretch of poor weather has forced the cancellation or postponement of multiple sporting events across Escambia County, according to North Escambia.

High school football games originally scheduled for Friday have been moved to Thursday night. West Florida High School's game has been pushed back to a date to be announced later.

At the college level, UWF's home football game against Northwestern State set for Saturday has been canceled entirely. A weekend baseball tournament at Molino Ballpark has also been scrubbed due to the weather.

The specific weather threat and updated game times were not detailed in available reports. Fans are advised to check with their schools and teams for the latest scheduling information.
