Warm Tuesday Before Rain and Cool-Down Wednesday

Pensacola-area residents can expect pleasant conditions today with highs climbing near 80 degrees, but a weather system moving through will bring increasing shower chances this afternoon and widespread rain overnight into Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The most significant rain activity is expected Tuesday night through Wednesday morning as the system pushes through Northwest Florida. Thunderstorms are likely during that window, so residents should be prepared for wet conditions if heading to the polls today.
Once the system clears, skies will improve and a noticeable cooling trend takes hold as we head toward the weekend, bringing more seasonal fall temperatures back to the area.
