Walnut Hill Man Found with 'Hit List' Following Accidental Shooting Gets Continuance

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Walnut Hill man accused of illegally possessing unregistered silencers and a destructive device has been granted a continuance in federal court. Joshua Dean Hardy was set for trial Monday, but his attorney requested more time to finalize plea documentation. He's now scheduled for trial December fifteenth. Hardy was indicted after accidentally shooting himself in July while walking on family-owned property. Federal investigators found documents on his laptop including a manifesto with references to a killing spree and identified targets. Hardy remains in custody without bond.
