VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT PROJECT PUBLIC MEETING TODAY

Escambia County, in partnership with Jacobs Engineering, is inviting area residents to the second public meeting for the Vulnerability Assessment Project, which is an initiative aimed at safeguarding the unincorporated areas of Escambia County against environmental risks, including rising sea levels and flooding. The meeting is taking place today (Monday) at 5:30 pm at the Lexington Terrace Community Center, 700 S. Old Corry Field Road. During the meeting, attendees will hear from county staff and representatives from Jacobs Engineering on the results of the countywide vulnerability assessment, and will have the chance to provide input on the results as well as participate in a question-and-answer session at the end of the meeting.
