TWO PEOPLE SAVED FROM SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH

Pensacola FL (NewsRadio 92-3) Two people were taken to the hospital after being trapped in a single vehicle crash yesterday. Responders say the incident occurred at 6:29 p.m. when Escambia County Fire Rescue units responded to a motor vehicle crash requiring extrication at the intersection of North Old Corry Field Road and Lillian Highway. Upon arrival, Firefighters used hydraulic extrication equipment to remove the driver's side and the roof to access the driver. Once freed, both occupants were transported to area hospitals by Escambia County EMS. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
