Pensacola Man Arrested in Crash That Killed Unborn Child

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A 23-year-old Pensacola man is behind bars for a March crash that killed an unborn child. Pensacola Police say Nickolas Bolton was speeding southbound on Ninth Avenue and ran a red light at Bayou Boulevard, slamming into a car driven by a pregnant woman. The woman survived with non-life-threatening injuries, but her unborn child did not survive. Bolton is charged with negligent manslaughter and reckless driving and is being held in Escambia County Jail.
