TSA PreCheck enrollment event coming to Pensacola International Airport

Pensacola International Airport will host a TSA PreCheck enrollment event next week, giving local travelers a chance to apply for or renew the trusted traveler program without a trip to a major hub.

The event runs November 3-6 at the airport's enrollment center, 2430 Airport Blvd., Suite 225. Hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. daily. IDEMIA, an authorized TSA PreCheck enrollment provider, will handle the applications on-site.

TSA PreCheck allows U.S. citizens, nationals, and lawful permanent residents to speed through airport security screening with minimal hassle—no need to remove shoes, belts, light jackets, or laptops from carry-on bags. The program costs $78-$85 for five years.
