TROOPER AND DRIVER INJURED IN CRASH

An FHP trooper and a driver were injured in a crash on Highway 29 on Sunday morning. It happened as the trooper was investigating a previous crash near West Roberts Road. FHP says the trooper's patrol vehicle was rear-ended by an SUV driven by 36-year-old Deondrez White. Both the driver and the trooper were hurt and taken to the hospital. White now faces charges for driving with a suspended license as a habitual offender. He's being held on 75-hundred dollars bond.
